In the wake of the Spring Festival holiday, SIP has launched a multi-pronged effort to facilitate a swift return to operation in enterprises, aiming to ensure a good start for this year’s economic development.

The industrial park has adopted a series of measures since last month to help enterprises retain and attract talents. Eligible enterprises can receive subsidies for maintaining production during the holiday and for employing in February and March non-Suzhou-native people who come to seek jobs in SIP for the first time. Eligible HR service organizations that help introduce at least 50 talents to enterprises in SIP during these two months and enterprises and HR service organizations that charter vehicles to bring non-local employees back to workplaces from Feb 15 to Mar 15 can also receive subsidies.

In addition to these incentives, SIP has enhanced services for businesses. A special online job fair was held on Feb 21, when 67 enterprises like SEW and Safran offered 341 job vacancies, attracting about 1,200 applicants, including 168 reached tentative agreements with employers. Following that, tens of online and onsite job fairs will be held through March.
On the other hand, SIP informs enterprises of policies exactly fit for them through its online platforms, and teams from related authorities have visited many enterprises to learn about their conditions and offer support.
Thanks to these measures, 96% of the industrial enterprises above the designated size in the park had resumed operations by Feb 24.
