From Feb 15 to 20, SIP’s Jinji Lake Scenic Area and Yangchenghu Peninsula Tourist Resort welcomed 1.4024 million visitors, a year-on-year increase of 14.02%. Its elaborately devised Spring Festival celebrations and quality services received wide acclaim from the guests.

During this period, SIP offered a diverse array of cultural experiences blending international charm with local traditions. Lion dances were performed at Harmony Times Square, old Xietang Street and other places on the first day of the first month on the Chinese lunar calendar, while blessing parades around Moon Harbor and Ligong Causeway on the fifth day spread festive cheer.

The Jinji Lake light show and musical fountain offered visitors fantastic audio-visual experiences, complemented by tulip displays beneath the “Flying” sculpture.
The “Suzhou Eye” Ferris wheel featured fish lantern parades, China-chic electronic music parties, and robot dogs offering festival greetings. Art exhibitions and reading activities enriched the cultural atmosphere.

Many hotels organized festival celebrations and offered special holiday meals and services. Twelve major hotels around Jinji Lake and Yangcheng Lake reported operating incomes totaling RMB29.14 million during the six days, an increase of 8.67% YoY.

Coupons and vouchers were offered online, and shopping malls and stores carried out sales promotions, contributing to the surge in consumption.
