Recently, SIP’s Shengpu Sub-district hosted its fourth fitness festival in tandem with open-air fitness dancing and lianxiang (a traditional Chinese folk dance performed by dancers with bamboo or wooden sticks in hands) shows.

The event started with a graceful dance, followed by over 10 performances staged by teams from different communities, including cheerleading dance, lantern dances and lianxiang.

During the group show time, the participating teams moved in perfect unison and exuded great energy, vividly demonstrating the vitality of traditional fitness activities.

The event not only offered local residents a stage to showcase their talents in sports and performing art, but also represented Shengpu Sub-district’s efforts to participate in the nationwide fitness campaign.
